We understand the importance of accessing your contacts and CRM data on the run and want you to know we are committed to constantly expanding our mobile presence. Why Not Native?
Cross Platform
Instead of focusing on one platform at a time, we wanted to engineer a product that could reach the widest audience possible. By choosing to do a mobile friendly version first, it gets karmaCRM immediately into the hands of IPhone, Andriod and Blackberry users, which covers a wide majority of the mobile market.
Increasing Speed
We believe that HTML5 powered mobile apps are only going to get faster as browser and mobile devices continue to improve.
Rapid Development
We wanted to release a mobile application that was able to be as agile and rapidly updated as our web app. This mobile app allows us to be very responsive to your suggestions and issues, shorten feature development time, and get it in your hands sooner.
Whats next?
We want your feedback on how we can make improve this app, and give you the features you need while on the go. Our future plans includes making this app installable on IPhone and Android and a mobile app designed specifically for IPad or Android Tablets.
Offline Access?
For the first few versions of this app we decided against offline access, so we could be sure to get it online as quickly as possible. We will be adding offline access in the future as we get closer to version 2, so consider it in the roadmap.
Thanks for rolling out the Android version. KarmaCRM will be a valuable tool for me going forward in my mobile business.
Hi,
great improvement. I’ve test it on Android with native browser and it works like a charm. But i can’t use it with Oper Mini. It’s stuck on loading screen.
We’re glad you are enjoying the app. Keep the suggestions flowing, as we hope to continue to improve based on your needs.
The mobile version does not have time for task like it is for the web version.
You are correct in this. This is a feature we will be rolling out in our next iteration which will be within a month. Thank you for the feedback!
Looking forward to the next release of the mobile site. There are a few glitches on my Android browser, but we really appreciate having these features. Just started using karmaCRM and already loving it!
Glad you are enjoying it. The next release should be faster and have less glitches. We also hope to make it “Installable” to the Android and IPhone app stores.
Are you making a iPhone specific app?
Hi Ryan,
We are not working on an IPhone specific app at this time, but we do have an app that is cross platform compatible, see here:
http://www.karmacrm.com/blog/company/announcing-karmacrm-mobile.html
We might make a native IPhone app down the road, but are focusing on web-based apps so we can ensure our app works across many platforms.
When I add the icon to my homescreen on iPhone I noticed something. Everytime I go out of the app and then back into it, it takes some time to load like it’s refreshing or something. Is this normal? because when I go to it in the browser this doesn’t happen when i go to the homescreen then back into the browser.
Hi Ryan,
Yes that is normal. Right now since it is web-based it needs to refresh each time you load the app. We will be fixing this in the future by making an installable version that doesn’t need to refresh when you load it up but for now that is part of the application.
Company website links are not viewable in the karma mobile version. This is a big missing link for our sales team. We link a Google drive spreadsheet to every client company to gain instant access to sales history. Please add websites to the Company view in karmacrm mobile.
Hi Corey,
Thanks for the suggestion. Our team is laser focused on v2 for both web and mobile versions so we’re not adding anything to v1 apps at this time. We’ll make sure company URLS get into the mobile version of v2 and appreciate your patience.
Tried this on IPhone 4S and all I get is a blue and white screen. When do you guys think v2 will come out that will be compatible to the IPhone 4S?
Yes, we will be testing v2 with the Iphone 4, 4s and 5.
Hi, Tried to load the mobile site with Windows Phone, it gets stuck on blue background screen with nothing on, Is this a known issue?
We do not support Windows Mobile at this time.
Wondering if you have any plans for a Windows 8 version of this for the new phones that have come out.
Not initially but after we launch our Iphone and Andriod apps we will be taking a look at Windows Mobile.
what is the current version of the mobile app for iPhone/iPad? what’s the latest news on the mobile app? seems the latest info on v2 was back in May 2012… do you have an updated features page for v2?
Hi Gary,
We actually have been doing a lot of work on mobile (just iPhone for now, but iPad will be coming soon). We’re already in alpha for a karma2 mobile app–we’ll keep you updated. Thanks!
GREAT work guys! You are the best!
Thanks so much!
I’m using an iPhone 4s which has been out for quite awhile, but only getting a blue screen. Using the url with the /m and not working. Any suggestions?
Hi Anne,
Sorry about this–it’s a known issue with the app in karma1. We’re only making updates to the karma2 mobile app, and we’d be happy to let you know when it’s available. In the mean time, we can be in touch about migrating your account to karma2, if you’d like.
Thanks.
I would like to be able to access my deals via the mobile site. When will this be possible?
Hi Glenn,
This feature is likely to be rolled out on the karma2 mobile app within 30 to 60 days. We are no longer updating the mobile app for karma1.

Hi Palmer,
Sorry that this has been happening for you. I will forward this issue on to the support team–expect a response soon.
