New Feature – MailChimp Integration

Anyone sending out email campaigns knows the importance of keeping your lists up to date, and measuring them properly. We have listened to our users and are proud to announce one of our most requested integrations: MailChimp! Now you can merge the benefits of managing your contacts in karmaCRM with the email campaign powers of MailChimp.

Getting Setup

The integration is easy as pie! From your karma dashboard:

Click on Setting
Click Integrations
Click Install next to MailChimp
When redirected, log into your existing MailChimp account

That’s it, you are connected!

It will take a few minutes for your contacts to get into MailChimp. You’ll receive a notification that your contacts are being synced once the process starts.

We are letting the pros do what they do best: all campaign creation and emails will be done through MailChimp. After your campaign has been sent, you can view the number of emails opened and clicked as percentages through the dashboard widget in karma or within individual contacts in the campaign side widget.

Easily See Open Rates and Click Tracking

Need to know if you included a contact in a particular campaign, and did they open and clicked on one of the links in your last email campaign? No problem, go into the contact, and look in the MailChimp widget inside the contact, and you will see the campaigns that the contact was included, if they opened the email and if they clicked on a link within that email.

A big thank you to all the users who requested the MailChimp integration. Keep the feedback coming, it helps us make karma work for you! We look forward to hearing from you.

Customizable Side Menu

To the right of your main work area within karma, you will see a menu along the right-hand side of your screen that can be always open and present. This menu displays at-a-glance relevant information, allowing you to navigate throughout the site while still keeping your tasks and other items always in focus.

You are able to customize the widgets in the side menu, as well as add widget groups based on the types of activities you’ll be performing.  For instance, you can set your side menu up to display widgets containing contacts, events, history, and tasks – among other items.

Sitewide Search

To help you find any record within karma quickly, we’ve designed a sitewide search bar. It’s designed to get you to the details you need quickly.

With sitewide search, you can scope your search by the type of record you are looking for to speed things up even further. Once your record has pulled up, you can either open the record itself or edit it directly from within the sitewide search.

Inline Editing

Karma allows you to perform inline editing all across the entire program, using either a grid or show view.  This will help you to reduce the navigating you have to do, while simultaneously speeding up the updating process.

This feature helps you ensure that your data is always accurate and up-to-date, and makes it easy for you to do so no matter what screen you may be working in.  Edits are saved automatically – no need to make all of your changes and click on a Save button to ensure your edits go through.
